Three things I am proud of:
- We start class with a tangible example, rather reading the syllabus. Students get to work through this example to gain familiarity with the concept of preference profiles, allocations, and Pareto efficiency.
- My outline for the course. I like organizing Unit 1 around defining efficiency, truthfulness, and fairness (equal treatment). I also like that Units 2, 3, and 4 each explore a different notion of fairness, and Units 5 and 6 are deeper dives into important applications.
- The fact that I actually managed to find a durian and bring it to class!
